The city’s infrastructure has been actively developed in recent years. Metro Line 1 runs through the city center and will be completed by the end of 2022 and is expected to drive urban development. The development of Ho Chi Minh City mainly revolves around both sides of the river that runs through it. The first district is the central area, where A-level office buildings, stock exchanges, government departments, high-end hotels, the famous Opera House, Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, and post office are all located.
