In April, global demand remained weak, resulting in sluggish indicators for production, trade, finance, and confidence. However, domestic demand, particularly in the retail and catering industry, showed steady growth, leading to an increase in employment in the service sector.
- 展望未來,全球景氣低緩恐仍影響我國外貿表現,但高效能運算、資料中心、人工智慧等新興科技發展,可望挹注部分出口動能。投資方面,國內綠能與投資台灣三大方案持續落實,加上政府擴大公共建設經費,並積極協助產業導入智慧化、低碳化設備與技術,均有助維繫投資動能;內需方面,隨疫情影響淡化,國人消費活動增加,加上政府推動全民共享經濟成果措施,有助於內需市場維持暢旺。整體而言,目前多數機構預測今年下半年台灣經濟可望較上半年改善,但全球通膨與金融情勢發展,以及美中對抗等不確定因素尚存,對國內景氣的影響仍需留意。

- 中央銀行 2023 年 2 月 23 日公布, 2023 年 4 月五大銀行新承做放款平均利率。
The Central Bank announced on February 23, 2023, the average interest rates for new loans undertaken by the five major banks in April 2023.
- 本(112)年 4 月本國五大銀行(台銀、合庫銀、土銀、華銀及一銀)新承做放款加權平均利率為 1.843%,較 3 月的 1.753% 上升 0.09 個百分點;其中,除消費性貸款利率下降外,其餘各類貸款利率因本行 3 月升息,均較 3 月上升。若不含國庫借款,則本年 4 月五大銀行新承做放款加權平均利率為 1.849%,亦較 3 月的 1.789%上升 0.06 個百分點。
In April of this year, the weighted average interest rate for new loans offered by Taiwan's five major banks ( Taiwan Bank, Land Bank, Cooperative Bank, Hua Nan Bank, and First Bank ) was 1.843%. This represents an increase of 0.09 percentage points from March's 1.753%. Except for consumer loans, which experienced a decrease in interest rates, all other loans saw an increase due to the interest rate hike by the banks in March. Excluding treasury borrowings, the weighted average lending rate for new loans offered by the five major banks in April of the current year was 1.849%, reflecting a 0.06 percentage point increase from March's 1.789%.
