Sânpetru, one of the 14 establishments founded by Saxon colonists in 1211 in Țara Bârsei, was known throughout history as Petersburg, Sant Petru or Mons Sancti Petri.
Called by the locals „The Old School”, one of the most important buildings in Sânpetru hosted the Evangelical Saxon School for more than a century. The now private property is undergoing a renovation process in order to receive a new function in the near future: hotel and event center.
The two buildings are built in L shape on the edges of a 2500 sqm land that offers plenty of usage options. The location is very fortunate, in the historical area of Sânpetru, in the vicinity of the Evangelical Fortified Church built in 1794 on the foundation of a 13th-century church.
