Hualaihué has multiple landscapes and natural places to visit. Once you cross the Puelche cove, the starting point of our commune, you will find the town of Contao, a historical place for its magnificent millenary Alerce trees. Continuing along the COASTAL ROUTE, a 60 km route, you will find the riverside craftsmen and their boats, churches built with larch of the area, shore collectors and varied cuisine. You will also find the magnificent Poe caves and La Silla hill in the town of Puerto Hualaihué.
The Coastal Route ends in the town of El Varal to resume the Carretera Austral and find the towns of El Manzano, Pichicolo and Puntilla de Pichicolo, until reaching Hornopirén.
In Hornopirén you will find the volcano of the same name that measures 1,572 meters, the Hornopirén National Park of 19,000 hectares, the Black River and the White River.
The commune has a variety of hot springs, which you can find a step away from the sea, immersed in the forest, near the lakes or between the fjords

it has great tourist potential, it is surrounded by hot springs such as those of pichicolo, llancahue, porcelana, cahuelmo, and lago cabrera, it can become a great stopover place for the many yachts and sailboats that visit the fjords every year.
