‘ocean’s edge’ is a thai-bali styled 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom oceanfront villa, in a small private headland development.
the villa has been extensively modernised and refurbished in 2020.
the villa is made up of 4 separate pavilions, a large pool and expansive sandwich deck surrounded by tropical gardens and large trees.
interiors are finished with a mix of large sized, light coloured ceramic floors tiles and natural stone, large, free sliding, high quality, sun-paradise windows and doors, with a selection of original artworks and antique furniture from throughout asia. all this gives a very sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere to the villa.
the whole villa is air-conditioned and with views of the pool deck and the sea.
the living and deck areas have integrated sound systems for entertaining + apple tv with movie library in all bedrooms and main living area.
there is a fully equipped kitchen and appliances are of a high standard (smeg).
there is a nice casual outdoor sala, and a more formal indoor dining area.
there is a dedicated massage therapy room.
the villa has maids’ quarters should an owner wish to have live in staff.
the deck area has various seating and entertaining areas for parties next to the pool and provides beautiful views of the sea and islands. there are steps leading down to a small cove and the ocean.
directly in front of the house are two islands that are national parks and from these we often have sea eagles flying overhead fishing directly in front of the house. sometimes we also have sightings of the large and beautiful horn bill birds.
on a clear day the famous islands of koh phi phi can be seen between in the distance.
ocean’s edge villa is only 10 minutes from phuket city, and the best restaurants and bars on the island. ao yon, a relaxed, white sandy beache, perfect for families and swimming – is only 7 minutes away by car, while a myriad of islands are 15 minutes by speedboat.
